Quality evaluation of spatial information service

With the widespread use of information technology in the field of surveying and mapping and the extensive practice of the information-based surveying and mapping,the surveying and mapping not only provides the maps or map data,but also provides the spatial information services including spatial data.The author proposed that spatial information service quality is decided by three quality factors:spatial data quality,information accessibility and information interactive quality,each of which contains a number of lower level quality factors so as to make up a factor tree of the geographic information service quality.In the field of the construction of the full space information service quality,the author also proposed that multi-level comprehensive evaluation is applied to evaluate the quality of spatial information services.In this way,it could establish a technology system of spatial information service quality evaluation,based on the network environment,to provide not only a more objective and true assessment for spatial information service quality,but also a reference to improving the service quality.
