CONDUCTING INFINITE HORIZONTAL CYLINDER IN ELECTROMAGNETIC INPUT FIELD *

With the help of the principle of superposition the Input response of a conducting infinite horizontal homogeneous cylinder is synthesised from its step-function response. The variation of transient peaks and the time lag between the secondary and primary fields with the cylinder constitution parameter are illustrated.
