Abstract: | Abstract Bowen ratio measurement systems that use a rotating apparatus for periodically reversing the psychrometers to remove systematic errors are compared in the laboratory and above a Douglas‐fir stand. The effect of some non‐cancelling errors on the measurement of the Bowen ratio and forest evapotranspiration is illustrated, and an improved apparatus and psychrometer are described. |
