Dseign and simulation of FIR digital filter based on EPGA

This paper introduces the thories and common implementation methods of Finite Impulse Response(FIR)digital filter.An efficient implementation design based on FPGA is presented.The design adopts symmetrical structure,addition,multiplication and cascade techniques,and is simulated with yhe FPGA chip and Maxplus software .The simulation result shows that the design of FIR filter based on FPGA possess advantages like fast operation speed ,good real-time performance and less hardware resources .It has important engineering application value.
