| Abstract: | New formulae are presented for the calculation of the horizontal magnetic field due to a point electrode situated at the vertical boundary between two quarter-spaces of different electrical conductivities. Previously the solution was obtained using a double Fourier transform of the expression for the vertical component of the magnetic field. The new formulae are given in the form of single integrals. |
