| Abstract: | According to the dam monitoring network characteristics, the contribution of observations for the sensitivity is discussed in the paper. With consideration given to the criteria of sensitivity, reliability and cost at the same time, the optimization design method can be suggested. The pratical calculation for the Baihe dam monitoring network shows that this method is effective and feasible. |
