| Abstract: | The authors collected systematically mictopalaeobotanical specimens from the late Precambrian,Su county ofnorthern Anhui in April,1988.Implefilacus genus was discovered in the carbonate rock at the Wangshan Formation andin mottled shale at the bettom of the Gouhou Formation.This genus is represented by an multicellular algae called the silkalga with many branches.The silks of alga interweave methodically.Sometimes the large alga of silk is like the figureof agate.The genus fill in the gaps where there are no multicellular silk alga in the late Precambrian,Huaibei.It is impor-tant for study of stratigraphic age and evolution of silk algas. |
