A Model of Sounding Generalization Based on Sounding Data Hierarchy

Based on analysing and referencing the traditional theories and methods of sounding generalizations,weanalyse the hierarchy of the sounding data,and study the methods of classification,grading and polymerizationfor sounding data.On the premise of meeting the specification of the cartographic generalization,we arrange theclassification of sounding data based on the significance and character,and reform the employed gradation andstructure of generalization methods,then build the mode of sounding generalization based on the hierarchy.Thismodel can achieve the process control of the sounding generalization,and cares the quality requirements of thesounding generalization,so this text can offers the support of theories and techniques for the further applicabilityof the automatic sounding generalization,with a certain pragmatic value.
