| Abstract: | It is shown that scattering of electromagnetic waves by Langmuir waves taking into account the electrical drift motion of the particles is the most efficient nonlinear process contributing to a radio pulsar’s spectrum. If an inertial interval exists, stationary spectra with spectral indices of ?1.5 or ?1 can be formed, depending on the wave excitation mechanism. The obtained spectra are in satisfactory agreement with observational data. |
