| Abstract: | A statistical study of sunspot activity during 1969 to 1986 was carried out by using the number of sunspot groups and their areas. We found a 17-month periodicity, which is consistent with the 500-day periodicity of flare occurrence (Ichimoto et al., 1985).Contributions from the Kwasan and Hida Observatories, University of Kyoto, No. 281. |
