| 摘 要： | １９９８年第三季度，全球地震活动仍为中等水平，新几内亚北部近海和厄瓜多尔近海各发生一次７级以上地震，亚速尔群岛发生一次６级以上的地震，全球中等以上地震活动无异常现象。
