| Abstract: | First of all, the situation of geo-information metadata standardization in the world and the establishing procedure of Japanese metadata standardization are summarized. Then Japan Metadata Profile (JMP 2.0) is described in detail and the relationship between JMP 2.0 and ISO19115 are analyzed. At last, the concept of metadata and clearinghouses is explained and the existing problems of geographic data sharing are pointed out. |
