Application of augmented reality technology used in location based services

With the information technology development from the e-Strategy to u-Strategy, there are more and more demands for location based services. Traditional location based service is a planar service model, but the virtual world is required to be specific expectedly. Augmented reality technology used in location based services is a new exploration of this mode. It presents the concept of location based services and aug- mented reality, and the research used in spatial information visualization, and discusses the key technolo- gies and logical framework of augmented reality combined with location based services. Last, the future de- velopment and significance of this technology are provided.
