| Abstract: | An analytical theory which describes the motion in an oscillatory smooth turbulent boundary layer using a two-layer time invariant eddy viscosity model is presented. The eddy viscosity in the inner layer increases quadratically with the height above the wall. In the outer layer the eddy viscosity is taken as a constant. |
