Dependence of the color of Markaryan spiral galaxies on their spatial orientation

We show that the U-V-color of Markaryan galaxies increases as the inclination of the galaxies increases. We note that the width of the emission lines, UV excess, and inclinations of Markaryan spiral galaxies (in narrow red-shift intervals z=0.004) are interrelated.Translated fromAstrofizika, Vol. 37, No. 3, 1994.
