Abstract:The main topic of this paper is to investigate the exchange of mass and angular momentum between a satellite or planetary system and its primary, and the effects of this exchange to axial rotations and satellite orbits. Various applications on the calculation of axial rotations, present and past satellite masses and orbits and other implications of the theory are presented.
