Abstract:Shuiji Pb-Zn ore deposit is hosted by metamorphic rocks of Middle Proterozoic with direct wall rock of diopside-tremolite rocks metemorphoed from marine intermediate-basic rocks. Ore bodies are divided into two types, ie stratoformed bodies in diopside-tremolite rocks and Ag-Pb-Zn ore bodies in fractured zones closely related to diorite.Pb, S isotopic data reveal that Shuiji Pb-Zn ore is formed by multi-stages. Marine intermediate-basic eruption carried Pb, Zn S ore-forming materials from matle and lower crust. stratoformed Pb-Zn ore bodies were formed by metamorphisms during Jinning Movemeut; Primary ore bodies were formed in fractured zones during Chengjiang Movement and Ag-Pb-Zn ore bodies configured by modification of tecto-magmatism of Yanshan Period. Ore material of stratoform bodies are sourced from deep sites by marine eruption belonging to volcanic-sedimentary modified deposit. Ore bodies in fractured zones ane formed by Pb, Zn, S from deep crust. S is multi-source, e.g. mantle sulfur, magmatic sulfur and biotic sulfur which were transfered to crust durig dissection of basement by fracture and incooperated into materials of wall rocks. Silver is mainly sourced from Yanshanian magmatism.
