| Abstract: | This paper briefly introduces the surveying official posts, astro-geodetic survering, engineering survey, and cartography etc. in the periods of the Sui(581-618), Tang (618-907), the Five dynasties (907-960) and Ten Kingdoms.The flourishing age of Tang Dynasty was the second developing height of surveying and mapping after Han Dgnasty(206BC-220AD). |
