| Abstract: | The scientific thinking for medium and short term earthquake prediction research is described in detail. It is that the static geological or crustal structure is given dynamic property and the precursorary anomaly is given tectonic implication. Under guidance of this thinking, the ways and methods of medium and short term earthquake prediction are briefly discussed. Three problems are pointed out which should be given attention in the studies of medium and short term earthquake predicition. |
