| Abstract: | The applications of 'coherent emission' to radioastronomical sources is discussed critically. The applications considered are electron cyclotron maser emission applied to certain solar and stellar radio emissions, pulsar radio emission, and suggested coherent emission from active galactic nuclei. This revised version was published online in July 2006 with corrections to the Cover Date. |
