| Abstract: | The 305 Geotransection surveys on stratigraphy, deposition, structurology, petrography and explores to geophysics field character in the crust and upper mantle. The lithospheric evolution and dynamic process, and their relationship with mineral formation and petroleum reservoir in western Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region were studied (Wu, et al, 1990). The 305 Geotransection is from Burqin to Mazar. We worked in the northern segment of 305 Geotransection. The segment passes through the western edge of Junggar Basin to the Northern Tianshan Mountain front with the length about 400 km. The oil fields of Xiazijie, Wuerhe, Baikouquan, Hongshanzui, Chepaizi, Dushanzi, etc in this area (Figure 1). |
