| Abstract: | The Chaerhan potash deposit in China was discovered in the development of Chaidamu basin in 1956 when the road building workers found accidentally the clue to potash mineralizations according to which Ministry of Chemical Industry sent a team to practise a early stage investigation. Later in 1957, CAS Investigation Team of Saline Lake conducted prelimiinary appraisal of the mineralization, first discovering potash mineral, a newly grown species of carnallite, in a man dug salt pool. |
