| Abstract: | In this paper,the conclusion that earthquakes in the South Yellow Sea are directly or indirectly retated to the deep structure is obtained through the analysis of the Mohole figure,the structure characteristics and earthquake locations.It is suggested that earthquakes appear in two types of environment:1) The deep faults which divide tectonic blocks can induce earthquakes:2) The inter section areas of different strick crust faults which occur in intermediate district between deep tectonic uplift and deep tectonic depression are also earthquake areas. |
