A note on the howard-Malkus-Whitehead floating heat sources |

| Abstract: | Abstract Some deficiencies in a recent paper by Howard, Malkus and Whitehead are examined. The problem is reformulated in terms of an integro-differential equation, from which both asymptotic and numerical solutions are obtained. |
