| Abstract: | This paper examines the recent emergence of integrated coastal zone management as an application for the gathering, management and distribution of geospatial data. The requirements of a geospatial database of the coastal zone are outlined and the contribution of digital photogrammetry is examined. A saltmarsh monitoring project, which uses digital photogrammetry and was initiated by the authors, is described |
