THE VARIATION FEATURES OF AGROCLIMATICRESOURCES AND CROP YIELD OF CHINAIN RECENT 40 YEARS

In this paper , the temporal and spatial variation features of agroclimatic resources and crop yield of China in recent 40 years were analyzed based on the data of fundamental meteorological elements at 350 climaticstations and the data of staple crops from 1951 to 1990. The results showed that the coldest month exhibiteda warming trend while the warmest month exhibited a cooling trend, and precipitation varied on a declinetrend in recent 40 years. More than two-thirds of the total crop yield variation was caused by the change ofcrop yield per unit area, which was influenced by agrotechniques , social factors and climate with differentvariation features. Because of the warming and drying trend of climatic change in recent 40 years , the impactsof floods were severer than that of droughts from 1951 to 1969 . but droughts were prevailing after 1969.
