| Institution: | Evan K. Nyer is an expert in the research and application of technology to ground water cleanup. As vice president of Geraghty &Miller Inc. (P.O. Box 273630, Tampa, FL 33688–3630), he has been responsible for maintaining and expanding Geraghty &Miller's technical expertise in aboveground and in situ remediation, engineering, bioremediation, and many other areas. He also provides expertise in engineering services, including the design of treatment systems for contaminated water sites throughout the United States. He has designed and installed more than 200 ground water and soil remediation systems. He is a member of the Water Pollution Control Federation, NGWA, the American Institute of Chemical Engineers, the American Institute of Chemical Engineers, and the American Society of Civil Engineers.;Edward G. Gatliff, Ph.D., is president of Applied Natural Sciences Inc. in Hamilton, Ohio. He is a former research director for agricultural studies at Servi-Tech Inc. and has directed the analytical sciences division for Bowser-Morner Inc. In addition to developing the Tree Mediation®process, he has worked extensively with remote monitoring with computers and sensors. He continues to conduct research and consultation services for TreeMediation and other vegetative remediation projects. |
