Behavior Mechanism on Sulfide Solid-Liquid Interface and Its Application

Abstract:Surface mineralogy is one of the modern branches of mineralogy. The research of the interface of mineral-liquid, namely the study on the reaction of the mineral-liquid, is one of the fastest developing and most important subjects. The paper is concentrated on sulfide minerals. The behaviors on interface between sulfide and solution are aimed at the object of the research. The in-situ (AFM, XRD) and the ex-situ (XPS, SEM) methods are used in the research. And the adsorption tests, electrochemistry and application tests, the characteristics of surface mineralogy of sulfide, the principles of the physical chemistry of sulfide surface and the actions on the interface of sulfide in the SLI (solid-liquid interaction) process are studied in the paper. The results of the research in the field of surface mineralogy are applied to the treatment of the industrial drainage and the mechanism of gold deposit. Lots of actual and valuable results are gained from the research.
