西北干旱区持续发展的思考

本文针对西北干旱区的经济、社会和生态系统的运行现状、特点及其存在问题，认为改善生态环境和促进经济增长是其当前其域持续发展的重点子目标。

PONDERATION ON THE SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT IN THE ARID AREAS OF NORTHWEST CHINA

The regional sustainable development is a comprehensive multi-goal system engineering. It is to explore the optimal operation level of economic system, social system and ecological system in a region through a rational dynamic equilibrium process.It is considered that to improve the ecological environment and to promote the economic growth are the key objectives of the sustainable development at present based on the operational situations, characteristics and existing problems of economic,social and ecological systems in the arid areas of Northwest China. To exploit and utilize the water resources rationally, improve the water conditions and select the feasible economic development theory are the starting point and the core for achiveing the key objectives. The tentative ideas for resolving the two core issues are prescnted at the same time.
