| Abstract: | In this review, firstly, the closure assumptions in cumulus convection parameterization have been presented. Then, four schemes typical of cumulus parameterization were classified and their comparisons were made. Again then, the recent progress and the state of the art in the cumulus parameterization have been obriefly reviewed. Finally, some discussions and remarks on the parameterization were given, ,but with a emphasis on the numerical weather prediction. |
