| Abstract: | This paper gives a general remark about surveying and mapping administration and official setting, and some importance results of territorial surveying, map making, astronomic observations as well. From this, drawing a conclusion that the Qin (221BC-207BC) and Han (206BC - AD220) Dynasties were the period basically come to a Chinese ancient surveying and mapping system. |
