Radar Observations of Asteroid 1862 Apollo

  • Abstract:Arecibo radar echo spectra show the Q-class asteroid 1862 Apollo to have an elongation within 10% of 1.27, a pole-on silhouette with an average dimension of about 1.7 km, and disc-integrated radar properties that are typical for radar-detected near-Earth asteroids.
