| Abstract: | The development and management of urban waterfront tourism/recreational spaces are of great interest and significance focuses in urban planning studies. The authors suggested several principles based on reviewing other literatures and field works of waterfront planning and tourism programming for future projects and researches. With a case study of urban waterfront development in Wuhan City, Hubei Province, the authors told a real story about how to employ above principles into developing and managing city waterfront spaces into tourism and recreation utilities in China. |
