| 摘 要： | The writers subdivides the North China marine Quaternary of over three mi-llion years into ten fossil assemblage zones,correlatable to continental beds:I Assemblage Zone:representative forms——Ammonia tepida,Evolutononionweiheense;representative section——members 1 and 2 of the Yongledian Group inthe Weihe River Basin(1—2 thousand meters below Earth surface).Besides,attended with a number of Nonion species and ostracods.This zone is somewhatabove the Hipparion-bearing strata.In respect of Iithostratigraphical correlation itbelongs to the hasal Sanmen Series(“Green Sanmen”),correlatable to the lowerpart of the Nihewan beds or some level more or less lower than the latter.II Assemblage Zone representative forms——Discorbis yunchengensis,Noniondepressulum;repfesentative sectico——in the Yuncheng Basin(450 meters belowEarth surface) Besides,some small Nonion and ostracods are present.III Assemblage Zone leading forms——Globigerina pachyderma,G.bulloides,G.inflata,Hyalinea baltica;Coccolithus pelagic
