Abstract:In order to meet the needs of the coordinated land-sea geological survey of China's coastal zones, we calculated the aeromagnetic anomaly by reduction to the pole, analytic continuation, and vertical derivative based on the latest 1:500 000 aeromagnetic map of the northern coastal zone of China (north of Taizhou). Combined with geological information, physical property data, and existing results of aeromagnetic interpretation, we analyzed the magnetic field characteristic, and discussed the cause of aeromagnetic anomalies in subdivided regions, and identified the faults in the area. The results show that the magnetic rocks are widely distributed in the coastal zone, and the linear magnetic anomaly belts in the NE-NNE direction are the reflection of Mesozoic and Cenozoic acidic magmatic rocks, while the regional mass magnetic anomaly or wide and slow magnetic anomaly is the reflection of regional metamorphic rocks. The faults in the study area are well developed, and the main faults strike NE and NNE, followed by NW, in which the deep and large faults have an obvious controlling effect on the regional structure and magmatic activity. As the basic geological data with reliable quality, the "one Map" in this paper provides abundant geophysical information for solving the basic environmental and geological problems in the coastal zone. The fault division based on aeromagnetic data solves the problem of disconnection between land and sea faults in the special geographical environment, achieves the goal of overall planning between land and sea, and provides a basis for safety evaluation of major projects in the sea-land interaction area.
