| Abstract: | Paris is a successul model in suburb construction among international metropolises. Based on the analysis of the present situation and the process of the suburbanization of Paris, some characteristics of its renew and development are summarized, that is, to form a town system centering Paris, to construct a transportation network connecting Paris, and to keep the tradition and the status of agriculture. From the success and failure of Paris, we can learn something how to construct the suburb of metropolises. |
