气象科学研究中的方法论问题

讨论了方法论在气象科技现代化的重大意义，并给出了３０年来方法论影响气象科技发展进程的若干事实，对中国气象学界在５０－８０年代涉及方法论的几个问题进行了反思。历史地对比和分析了我国与美国在概率论和统计方法应用于气象领域方面的差距，以及造成这种差距的方法论根源，阐述了在气象院系教育中要注意方法论教育导向问题。

The Significance of Methodology in Meteorological Science

The significance of methodology in modernization of meteorological science and technology is discussed and a few instances are presented to show the steering effect of methodological idea on the last 30 year's course of development of meteorology. A brief reflection is given to the divergence of methodological views which seems to have existed within the meteorological circle of China during the 1950s, 1960s, 1970s and 1980s. Historical and comparative analyses are made of the gap in the application of probability and statistics in meteorology between China and the U.S., and of its methodological reasons. It is recommended that special attention be paid to the methodological guidance of education in the higher meteorological institutions.
