Abstract:The common methods for creating spatial weight matrix are reviewed, the deficiency of them under some conditions are pointed out and a new method based on grid is put forward.Some simulated instances have proved the correctness and usability of this method. The results show that this new method has advantage when the spatial distribution of points are very nonuniform.
