Analyzed functions and operational status of 3 key links of fund, cost and systematic managements in the geological exploration unit economic operation, pointed out three general issues are existed in operational process, namely imperfect system, incomplete operative mechanism; cost management lagging, inconspicuous economic benefit; unregulated fund management, undergrade economic operation. Geological unit economic operational executive ability is the ability to realize economic operational objects. The key to improve executive ability is to settle issues existed in economic operation. Therefore, countermeasures and measures to establish a right system, perfect operative mechanism, insure production operations on the rails, strengthen cost management, improve economic operation quality.
