摘    要:1. INTRODUCTIONThe Yellow River is a heavily sediment--laden river. Abstract:This paper deals with sediment transport at hyperconcentrations in the Yellow River and its tributaries in channel of different patterns (braided and meandering). Such kind of sediment transport has significant effects on the formation and stability of a deep and narrow channel best suited to the conveyance of hyperconcentrated flood. The anomalies occurring with such flow are also discussed.
