| 摘 要： | 指出了地图自动识别系统中地图数字注记识别存在的困难，论证了利用神经网络技术解决这种困难的可能性，并通过一个含有２个隐藏层的ＢＰ网络，说明了这种技术用于地图数字注记识别的可行性。

| Abstract: | Artificial neural networks(ANN)has the ability of learning,adaptive and parallel proceodng.It has the robust property to noiseand pattern deformation.So using ANN may overcome the difficultiesthat can' t be solved by traditional OCR technique.ANN approach for digits of map lettering recognition beingproposed in this paper and a two hidden layers BP networks being constructed. |
