| Abstract: | We simply discuss the effects of the beta-term caused by the change of the Coriolis force along with latitude on the large-scale atmospheric motion. The discussion contains three parts, which corresponde to the atmospheric longwaves, large-scale vortices such as tropical cyclones, and the planetary waves, respectively. |
