Abstract: | A simple semi-empirical model of the evolution of observed ring-shaped radial distributions of SFR surface density in galaxies NGC 628 and NGC 6946 provides us with exponential stellar disks with cooresponding scale length of the surface brightness radial distributions and constraints for the some nonobservable parameters: characteristic SFR decreasing time scale, characteristic collapse time scale, etc. This revised version was published online in August 2006 with corrections to the Cover Date. |
