The analysis of Instrument High Correction in Measurement Using Total Station

Electronic Total Station is a high-tech measuring instrument with a collection of light machine and electricity,and it is also a surveying instrument system with a functional collection of horizontal angle measurement,vertical angle measurement,distance(slop distance,horizontal distance) measurement and height difference measurement.It is called Total Station Instrument,because once it is installed at a measure station,all measuring work will be completed.And it is widely used in the fields of precise engineering survey such as ground large-scale constructions and underground tunnel construction,deformation monitoring,topographic mapping and so on.In this paper,aiming at the problem that height data measured by using Total Station Instrument is always larger than real data in practice,the author worked out the correction method of the height of instrument in the process of measuring height by Total Station Instrument.
