Correlation between regional and global seismic activity |

| Abstract: | The regional seismic activity in Sweden is significantly correlated to the global seismic activity. This result suggests that the regional Swedish activity is linked to the global activity by intraplate tectonics, rather than being caused exclusively by regional effects, such as the land uplift after the last glaciation. |
