Hydroclimatic contrasts and their influence on the vegetation,Barranca del Cobre,Mexico —a lengthening of the tropics in temperate zone

The climate is a physical fact remarkably affecting the geography of the earth surface, besides, the hydrological characteristics mostly resulting from the climate, also greatly influence the appearance of the landscape. In the zone of Barranca del Cobre, the hydroclimatic characteristics are peculiar thus, in this paper they are emphasized, and it is shown how they influence the vegetation, spontaneous and cultivated.
