Successful application of ahead-of-head VSP interface prediction

Ji‘ao Geophysical Exploration Company of Liaohe Petroleum Administrative Bureau successfully applied ahead-of-head VSP interface predictions in the Magu-2 and Magu-3 wells in mid October. The two wells were located in the high, north to the Magu-I well in the Majuanzi buried hill belt of the Liaohe western depression.Seismic data in this area was chaotic so that difficult to interpret. Geological problems needed to be quickly resolved during drilling.
