摘    要:中分辨率成像光谱仪MODIS有可见光及近红外通道,云检测能力超过大气红外探测器AIRS,在我们的算法中,AIRS云检测由落在每个AIRS视场中的精确空间匹配的1 kmMODIS云检测产品客观确定。实况资料测试说明该AIRS云检测算法简单易行且精度较高,目前正在业务使用。

Abstract:In this paper AIRS cloud mask is objectively determined from the accurately co-located MODIS 1 km cloud mask information within each of the AIRS field of view.The AIRS cloud mask is becoming one of the most critical initial information for any of the AIRS data utilities such as,clear radiance data assimilation,sounding retrieval,cloud property study,land and sea surface temperature retrieval,aerosol/dust detection,and spectroscopy analysis,just to name a few.
