| Abstract: | Based on the analysis of fault structure conditions of the Xiaowan reservoir, four potential segments where induced earthquakes will possibly occur have been identified. The preliminary prediction of the magnitude shows that the maximum magnitude for three segments along the Lancang river is about 4,and for other potential segments in the Heihui tributary is about 5. |
