| Abstract: | Having analysed the superiority, status and main problems of the population, resources, environment and economic sustainable development in Hexi corridor, this paper points out the opportunity and challenge of the economic sustainable development and puts forward the strategies for the regional economic sustainable development. The strategies are as follows: taking science and technology as guide, realizing the growth of economy; establishing the water saving oasis economic system; protecting oasis eco environment and quickening the step of urbanization and developing tourist industry. |
